My first magnet polish

Hi there strangers! Ha ha I feel like its been forever since I posted but it's only been a few days, I was kinda having nail polish funk nothing was coming out the way I wanted so I just have up for a few days. But I went to rite aid and got two of the magnetix polishes by pretty woman. I got the magenta and green they don't have names that I can see, but I could just be a blind dummy because that's most likely the case.

So today I'm wearing the magenta looking color. There definitely is a learning curve to these well especially for me because I don't read directions I don't like anyone telling me what to do! ha ha okay it was just the blind dummy not thinking to read them.

I like the look of it and the formula was good kinda thick but in a good way. I wish the magnet design was stronger I hope I can get some of the china glaze ones to compare to see if it's just user error, but we will see. One thing I can say is I painted my friends nails and it chipped the very next day and she said it chopped in huge a$$ chunks! So for someone like me that wouldn't really bother me because I change my polish daily anyways but it's good to know for anyone else, so that's it for me, later my lovelies, oh and have you tried these magnet polishes if so did you like them?

I like that the magnets are included in the price and that it comes with two.

grapes and chrome

The Sally Hansen chrome polish pens are just amazing! I feel like they are so perfect for stamping.

I found some polishes at target on clearance and the one Im wearing is Nicole by opi sounds grape to me. It looks very duo chromish in the bottle but not so strong on the nail but I still like it. Then I stamped using bm 208 and Sally Hansen color quick stick in silver chrome. So what do y'all think?

( sounds grape to me alone)

My love for stamping rekindled.

I was ready to do a post about how I hated this polish. Its Sally hansen laquer shine in the color spark. This polish is beyond gorgeous in the bottle its like a beautiful mix of dark blue and purple with pink shimmer. I had high hopes for it and it did come out beautiful but the formula was kinda a pain. It stained the hell out of my cuticles and it was taking forever to dry even with seche vite.

So then at the last minute I decided to try the new Sally Hansen chrome polish pens I got from my friend and BM 221, and then BAM! Something amazing happened it came out so good! I love it so much! I hadn't been stamping lately because the stamp always seemed to sheer. The Sally Hansen chrome pen is the best stamping polish I've come across I need to hunt down some more!

(work lighting)

(ott light and lightbox)

( ott light no lightbox)
What do you guys think? Do ya love it like me? And isn't it crazy how different lighting makes a huge difference? My pictures under my light box with my Ott light aren't as good as I expected, could I be doing something wrong? I did line my box with computer paper instead of craft is that it?

( sally hansen spark alone can you see the pink shimmer in the bottle?  I found this in a 6 pack at ross)

Xmas mani in February

Hola my amigos! I got my February julep maven box and I wanted to use the colors I got which is Glenn and Oscar. Apparently I'm loosing it in my old age and I can't see the obvious because I did not see this Christmas mani coming till it was too late.

But oh we'll whatcha gonna do. I think I never know when to stop and leave it alone but how else am I gonna stumble upon awesome stuff. So you win some and obviously some get very very lost. So check it out….

( This is glenn by itself, i love this color, it's so rich.)

I also got the cuticle oil from Julep in my box and I'm addicted to cuticle care items I have a lot and always want more so I was happy to get this in my box. I really like it, the packaging makes it super easy and accessible to use. I just rub it on really quick. I found I can keep it in my pocket like lip gloss and apply all day when I got a second free, which means healthy cuticles which equals longer nails! YES!
On another side note my best friend from work purchased me some polish, which is so dang sweet and thoughtful, she is just so sweet and I just love her. So thanks Janelle! Us at work joke and say me and her can be stuck on an island and we would never run out of things to talk about we just get along so well. Are you lucky enough to have someone like that? I hope so.
So she said she got them at the 99 cent store which is awesome because these were around $8 when they were full price and these look like they are gonna be perfect for stamping with, so maybe check out your 99 cents stores.
